Bird’s eye

Posted by Lance Miller On February - 22 - 2009

A woven pattern of small diamonds, each having a small dot in the center. The pattern of this fabric is called bird’s eye because in a way, the diamond with a dot looks like a bird’s eye. The French would rather refer to this pattern as caviar. A less refined pattern is the nailshead.
