Is a style of shoe that is commonly preferred by men who have high arch, or broad feet. The nose of the shoe and the lip are made from one single piece of leather, which gives the wearer the opportunity to tighten the laces appropriately. The advantage here is that the lip covers the sock, so the wearer does not have to put pressure on the laces.
