Purple is hot this season!
This week’s Suitorialist is a guest appearance of the Profuomo dressmaker’s dummy. I walked passed the Profuomo store on the Meent in Rotterdam and appreciated their great styling. What do you think of the styling?

Easy toning…

See the opened button hole with contrast stitching? Hot or not?

What do you think about this Naepolitan cuff?

I like the cut-away collar on this shirt, with matching pocket square that is folded in a three-stairs way. Hot or not?

Nice leather bag + gloves + shawl. Hot or not?

Would you wear a cardigan over the shirt and under the jacket?

Hi Bertie, nicely spotted; they’re all a mixture of cashmere/wool!

I like it, it looks very nice for fall/winter. The different colours and materials look very good together.
I like the idea of matching the pocket square to your collar or to one colour of your shirt/your scarf (in picture 1).
I even think the cardigan under the jacket looks good, but I personally don’t like cardigans at all.

What do you think about the scarves styled under the collar of the jackets? Is it only for the styling dummie or would you do it the same way?

According to the etiquette a pocket square shouldn’t match with the tie (assuming that the tie is uni colored and the pocket square is too..). But with a part of the shirt or tie = nice!
I also like the scarf styled like that. If you’re not cold
Otherwise; wrap that around your neck properly.
Have a good Friday night. I am going to Club Vie or Club Watt tonight, Rotterdam anyone?

Read your post a little bit too late to come round for ClubVie or Club Watt!
